INTERVIEWEE #1

Age: 25

Location: San Francisco

Occupation: Graphic Designer

Direction #1 clearly worked better and was more clear. She was confused by the majority of the direction #2 such as the calendar section. She wanted to see a simple calendar where she can click on certain days when she as a workout scheduled and then see the specifics of that day on a separate page. I believe that this is a good idea and will be implemented.

She also mentioned that, at the end of each workout, it should take you to your progress tracker and a summary page of the workout featuring calories burned and areas of the body worked. â€‹One more insight was when she became confused by the workout screen itself. There should be a checklist next to each exercise so that the user can check each one off the list once it has been completed.

INTERVIEWEE #2

Age: 55

Location: El Dorado Hills, CA

Occupation: Real Estate Developer

Direction #1 worked better here was well. She, as well was confused as to where to go on the calendar. She was expecting to see a profile page after entering the basic information which was not how I set it up at first. I directed the user to the setup page to setup their skill specifics. This is something to consider.

She also recommended that, for the progress tracker, perhaps weight may not work since the user would have to input this manually. For the progress tracker, she recommended that it should include calories burned per workout, distance ran per workout, and a strength training tracker will log how much the user can lift over the course of a week, month, and year. This was a great idea and I plan to implement.

INTERVIEWEE #3

Age: 65

Location: El Dorado Hills, CA

Occupation: Refrigeration Specialist

Direction #1 worked better here was well. He was confused mostly on the setup page and remarked that no one is going to fill all of that out. He also mentioned that including a section for injuries is a good idea. Since the app creates a workout schedule for the user, it's important the app know what workouts the user cannot perform.

It was clear after this interview that the hamburger menu in direction #2 will not work within the progress tracker. The tabbed menu on the bottom of direction #1 confused no one.
